Well today we were outside the kids were riding their bikes up and down the side walk as usual. Well our neighbors a house down from ours have two pitbulls.... Needless to say as the title gives it away Ben got bite by one of them! The dog actually started heading towards our house and so Gus our big ole' German Shepard didn't like that idea and met him before he got to Erica who happened to be the closest to him. He and Gus started fighting it was getting pretty intense with me and the lady (owner of pit) Screaming at the dogs to stop while Ben tried to break them up. Gus had the dog totally under his grip and the dog had no way of getting at Gus because he had him by the nap of his neck and is so much taller he just couldnt get at him. Well because of that Bens leg got in the way and the pitbull gave him two nice punctures in his leg along with some bad like scraps from his teeth. I will take pictures as soon as he cleans it again and get them up. It is not a very nice wound and is keeping him in some pretty nice pain. We went to the hospital and they called animal control. It was a pretty crazy day! Just glad that we had Gus to interfere because we just didn't know what would have happened with Erica. As for the Pitbull he is in coruntine (sp?) and we don't know what will happen yet.
