So we made this trap for one of the projects in school and Emilee was so happy about it. She was sure we would catch a Leprachaun and she could hang him up in her room. Ben and I asked her why she would hang him up in there and she said she didn't want him to get away she wanted to keep him and we told her what if he was sad because he missed his family and well it wasn't easy talking her into it but she decided if he was sad enough she might (big might) let him go back with his family. She was sure that we could be his new family and he would be ok. So we then let her know they were really smart and super fast and we may not catch one but we sure hope we do. Needless to say he got a way and left her some coupons for class. She got one free night of homework she got a free wish, she got one thing out of the treasure box her teacher has. So anyhow it was fun and we have learned that they are hard to catch. :) Oh and how the trap works is he see's that it is a cool hat just like his see they are big headed and so when he see's it is just like his he gets all excited and then he reads the little sign that says DO NOT CLIMB LADDER! and well that says it all they don't follow directions and as soon as he climbs the ladder he falls into the oatmeal container. It is a trap top all it is is a piece of fabric laying across the top so his weight will make him fall in for sure. :) Anyhow we had fun
